“Play to your strengths. If you aren’t great at something, do more of what you’re great at.”

This activity is meant for fixing mistakes a player may make with a recent choice pertaining to their character. You can only relearn one level at a time.

    • It can be any of your levels except level 1.

When relearning a level, a player must state which level is being changed. For any confusion, ping Chris.

For this activity, downtime days and gold components are dependent on the level a character is relearning. Refer to the chart below for the formula.

    • A player may not change the initial class chosen during character creation.
    • Subclasses may not be changed if hitting a milestone for the character. I.e. Cleric Domain or Paladin Oath.

If you use this downtime for changing from one class to the same class, just to change something in that level you must state what has changed.

Components Needed to Relearn
150 gp x Level
3x downtime days per level
  1. Place activity in #downtime-log.
  2. Using the following formula in the chart, all items must be added to the post.
    • Beginning level(s) and class.
    • Current XP amount.
    • Downtime spent.
    • Gold amount.
    • New level and class distribution, as well as any other misc. changes.
  3. Roll for complication using the chart below. Either a 1 on d10 or 1-10 on d100 will net a complication.

Bob will spend 15 downtime days and 750 gold to relearn level. He is a 3 levels fighter and 2 levels warlock and will change to 4 levels fighter 1 level warlock. Bobs has 6,732xp at time of change.

Complications are typically with most downtime activities. This activity yields a 10% chance of complications. Refer to the chart for possible complication outcomes.
